Mr. Carter:

There's not a built-in configuration setting to activate the help page in the
xmlui. For creating the html help page, I wonder if you'd be able to use the
jspui pages as a start? The jspui has a few help pages - general help, site
administration help, and collection administration help.

I was noticing that the wiki had few ideas for adding static pages to the xmlui:
http://wiki.dspace.org/confluence/display/DSPACE/Manakin+theme+tutorial#Manakinthemetutorial-Addingstaticpages

Or maybe you could link to a site outside the application?

If you come up with a good solution for adding in the help to the xmlui, maybe
we should think about including it in the main DSpace distribution. I'm not
sure that the JSPUI/XMLUI need to have exactly the same features, but it seems
like a help page would be good to include.

Hello,

I'm working on 1.6 with manakin (reference theme) and would like to add a
'help' page.

It seems that the jspui comes default with a help page. Is there a way to
'activate' this in the xmlui or do I have to create an html page?

Thanks,

Andy
