Hi Stuart,

This remains unchanged in 1.6 and 1.7. It looks like we've never
received a patch to make this configuration, and it's never been entered
into our Issue Tracker system as a desirable feature:

https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/DS

If you or anyone else has time to devote to either developing such a
feature or even just describing some of the possible use cases /
potential solutions, I'd encourage you to enter a new issue/feature
request in our tracker system.

This will ensure that the DSpace developers are aware of your request,
and help us to track it and (hopefully) add it to a future version of
DSpace. Please note that, as we are all volunteers, we cannot guarantee
a particular feature will make it into the next release. However, if we
can find a volunteer developer, or if someone from the community
volunteers to provide a patch, it can help to expedite that process.

Much more information on contributing to DSpace (via either
ideas/feature requests or code) is available on this Wiki page:
https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACE/HowToContribute

Let us know if you have any further questions.

- Tim
