Just a wee bit of additional info...

João Melo has kindly contributed a patch to DSpace for OpenAIRE
compliance (see https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/DS-829). Its
languishing on my todo list at the moment but I very much hope to get it
committed for DSpace 1.8.
