Would you be able to describe to us what exports from ContentDM look like? If you're able to tell us how you can export the current items, we'll be able to give some advice about the formats and methods of bulk importing items into DSpace. For example DSpace has several ways of bulk importing item, the usual being to make a structure of items in individual directories. Each items needs an xml file for the metadata, a file listing the bitstreams to ingest, and the files themselves. Most of this is documented here: - http://www.dspace.org/1_7_1Documentation/System%20Administration.html It will be likely that you'll need to write some crosswalks or conversion scripts to get the files and metadata as exported from ContentDM into this format.
