Another thing,
I designed trying to show an author when his citation count would show when his
article really gained traction.
It’s also an idea that can be used by administrators, trying to allocate
funding to areas that are becoming “hot”.
As well, if there was someone tracking this, it would be decision support for,
- Where to develop curriculum
- What is my competition doing that is “hot”
- Where to focus tech transfer, effort in making new patents
- Which stocks to pick
- Well maybe ?

Well, it’s not really either one.
Chunyue here made a perl script to gather data from our item & author profiles,
cumulates, and then posts in html.

Correct, all the interface changes are for JSPUI. The CRIS stuff has
its database tables and access layer "under" the UI layer, but the
interface changes you were asking about are pretty independent of
that.
