You can use an SQL command like this one (for 3.x):
UPDATE eperson SET password=md5('newpassword'), salt=NULL,
digest_algorithm=NULL WHERE email='[email protected]';
Or this one (for 1.8.x and older):
UPDATE eperson SET password=md5('newpassword') WHERE
email='[email protected]';
