Hello All, Could anyone please help us with a couple of advices regarding moving and upgrading DSpace.
Currently we have a DSpace 1.7.2 and we would like to upgrade to 4.1. We also want to change the server and upgrade the OS. How would be the best to proceed? Until now I intalled the newest Ubuntu server (14.04) to the new machine, moved the DSpace folder (1.7.2) and moved the database. Tried to configure tomcat to use the webappse, but it simply does not to want work :( I always get resource not found. Tomcat is running with tomcat7 user and dspace has dspace user as owner. Could this be the problem? Can anyone suggest a better way to move and upgrade Dspace? Thank you very much!
