as part of https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/DS-626 and my next
contribution to the DSpace community I am seeking help to:
- Find some kind of SUSHI + COUNTER validator (free)
- Interested people open to test it on their local DSpace instances / test
instances
I am targeting initially to support only 5.x (current master), however,
support from DSpace 1.6 can be added on-demand.
Currently, I already have a working implementation of an SUSHI + COUNTER
interface. The idea I had in mind was to start with some kind of MVP and
then add functionality on top. For example, with the current implementation
there is no authorization verification, allowing anyone to retrieve the
usage data from the repository. So, basically, I would need to check if the
implementation fits the general needs of the community.
Alternatively, I will create a PR with the current implementation and see
how it goes.
