Hi, all.

I just noticed (in our Google Webmaster Tools dashboard) that Google is
indexing hundreds of thousands of dynamic pages on our repository, for
example search and browse results for every subject term on every community
and collection. Our sitemap contains 50,000 items and is consumed correctly
by Google, but because of these dynamic pages, Google has over 500,000
"pages" indexed from our site.

What are other people doing for this problem? Surely Google doesn't need
those dynamic pages—it might even be affecting our search engine rankings
as Google would see those items as duplicate content and penalize us for
"content stuffing."

We're using DSpace 5.1 with the default robots.txt.

Thanks,
