Back in December, I emailed here about a missing chunk of statistics. helix84
gave a hopeful response:

However, I'm confused about what stats-log-converter and stats-log-importer are
actually doing.

I was able to use stats-log-converter to get all the information I needed for a
specific timespan. After running stats-log-importer overnight, the script
claimed to have successfully imported everything.

The converted stats files have many references to access to very specific
Items, Collections, and Communities, but when I query SOLR after the import on
any of those, I still only see 0 results.

I also notice that the stats generated by stats-log-converter (from dspace.log
files) look way different than the output of solr-export-statistics. It's
understandable that data being pulled in from dspace.log files will be reduced
in detail, but the difference is so vast I'm left wondering what I'm actually
populating with the process above since I can't access anything from the
specified timespan through SOLR statistics queries.

Thoughts on this matter greatly appreciated.
