The point is you can find all the metadata in the metadatavalue table,
an EAV table, which is why you couldn't find the metadata field names
as column names anywhere.


You may also find the ds6_metadata_id2field() and
ds6_collectionhandle2collection() functions (or just their code)
helpful:
