where did you customize the catalogue and how did you build and redeployed your
application?
Pay attention to the sections "Where to find the message catalog" and "Where to
edit" in
https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC6x/Localization+L10n#LocalizationL10n-JSPUIspecificlocalization
It is recommended to do your customizations of the message catalogue in
[dspace-source]/dspace/modules/jspui/src/main/resources/
