Hi Thiago.

Change tomcat's server.xml to use port 80 instead of port 8080. Remove the 8080 in you local.cfg (or dspace.cfg). Grep through your dspace/config directory for 8080 and change them all to 80 (or remove them). Remember to make sure that these changes are also made in your source code. Restart tomcat.

Further to that, if you want to remove the /xmlui or /jspui from the URL, remove it from local.cfg (or dspace.cfg), then in your webapps directory, mv [jspui or xmlui] to ROOT

Kind Regards.

Shaun

Hi guys, what is the simplest way to change the 8080 port to 80 so user won't need to type 8080 to access the application?
