Hello, I'm currently setting up a new DSpace 7.6 installation, and activated the standard entity model. I have set up two collections: one for publications, one for persons. When submitting a new publication I can choose an existing person as an author and create a relationship between those two items directly during the submission.
What I would like to do: add the name of an author that is not yet availably in the system as an entity, and have DSpace create that entity for me in addition to the publication I'm submitting. We have used that feature from DSpace CRIS in a different project, but using CRIS is not an option in this case. I was wondering if the same functionality already exists in the standard DSpace and I'm just missing it, or if is not yet available (but maybe planned for a future version).
