Hi Andrew,

Yes, we are aware of that 
bug: https://github.com/DSpace/dspace-angular/issues/2727  The goal is that 
these redirects should work for all bitstreams, but they do not at this 
time.

I don't yet have a timeline for when that specific bug will be fixed, but 
I've asked on the ticket to the developer who was looking into it initially.
