Hello DSpace Community,

I am very happy to share that there is an opening for a new DSpace
Technical Support Engineer
<https://lyrasis.isolvedhire.com/jobs/1592869-382443.html> position on the
DSpace staff team.

The DSpace Technical Support Engineer will work with the DSpace Technical
Lead to help ensure the success of DSpace contributors and users. DSpace is
an open source digital repository platform used by more than 3,000
organizations world-wide to host and manage institutional, subject-based,
dataset, and media repositories. The DSpace Technical Support Engineer will
diagnose issues, answer questions, triage bugs and pull requests, test
changes to the DSpace software, and contribute to DSpace documentation and
training material. As time and skills permit, the DSpace Technical Support
Engineer may also contribute directly to the DSpace code base through
coding of bug fixes and reviews of pull requests. This role will have a
direct impact on the adoption, reliability, and community experience of the
DSpace software.

This is a full-time remote term position through June 2028, with the
possibility for continuation dependent upon funding.
