Hi, I share my issue and ask for some help. I am upgrading our test DSpace server from 7.6 to 7.6.5. I did not modify the Shibboleth settings at all. However, after compiling and launching a new 7.6.5 DSpace, I found that even though the provider sends the values, DSpace receives no values.
1. Shibboleth.sso/session I can identify four correct attribute names and values. 1. However, in dspace.log ERROR unknown unknown org.dspace.authenticate.ShibAuthentication @ Shibboleth authentication was not able to find a NetId, Email, or Tomcat Remote user for which to indentify a user from. ERROR unknown unknown org.dspace.authenticate.ShibAuthentication @ Unable to register new eperson because we are unable to find an email address along with first and last name for the user. NetId Header: 'SHIB-NETID'='null' (Optional) Email Header: 'SHIB-MAIL'='null' First Name Header: 'SHIB-GIVENNAME'='null' Last Name Header: 'SHIB-SURNAME'='null' I just learned there was a Shibboleth bug in 7.6.1. Is it related to 7.6.5, too?
