Hi Jonathan,the information is kept in the database. At that moment an item is created with in_archive=false and no owning_collection. Furthermore an entry in the workspaceitem table (holding the information on the current submission: collection, initial questions, stage reached) and referencing the item is created. Once an item is archived the in progress submission or the workflow item turn into a "full" item.
