Vinsenso,

Check your [dspace]/log/dspace.log files.

Do your log files appear to be of the format: dspace.log.0 ...
dspace.log.500
or dspace.log.yyyy-mm-dd ?

If they are dspace.log.0 .. .500
Then it might be related to this issue:
