you are not using the correct folder path
try this:
sudo ant -Dconfig=/dspace/config/dspace.cfg update
and you must run the command while you are in this folder, via terminal:
[dspace-source]/dspace/target/dspace-[version]-build.dir
understand? you must replace [dspace] with a correct folder name
