I think its coz I unsubscribed frm the tech mailing list and am using Nabble to post, but I solved the issue, the incomplete import was being caused by the fact that some files had their extensions removed from them eg Document1.pdf becomes Document1. and also in the content file, this could be a bug because all this was exported by DSpace itself..
