By modifying two files -- [dspace]/config/dspace.cfg and
[dspace]/modules/xmlui/src/main/webapp/i18n/messages.xml
-- and updating indices, I have successfully added Dublin Core metadata
elements to the Discovery sidebar in addition to the several described as
defaults in [dspace]/config/spring/api/discovery.xml; i.e.,
dc.contributor.author,
dc.creator, dc.subject.* and dc.date.issued.
Which leaves me with the question: when must
[dspace]/config/spring/api/discovery.xml
be modified?
