Well there are not anything which looks missing so far but if dspace manual is 
using the term snippet view for XMLUI then there must be some obvious effect 
that one can see on the interface. On my interface i am seeing few collections 
whose details carries some output from my pdfs bit streams so may be i think 
this is what dspace is referring to for snippet which is obvious from its 
definition(generally).
