Nothing wrong, it should work just fine as long as the environment is
correct (the DNS record, required versions of dependencies).

No, why would it? Moving the application's database, files and
configuration is a sysadmin task, not a task for an application.
DSpace does provide content export capabilities, though, so you could
also do the content migration using e.g. AIP.
