Paolo and Lotta,

Sorry for the delay in getting back. As we are in the midst of testing
DSpace 5, we've received a lot of recent small issue reports, and we're
still catching up on all of them.

I will mention, it also helps to log issues individually in our Issue
Tracker system (https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/DS). Oftentimes we are
able to respond more rapidly in the Issue Tracker, simply because the
tickets act as a constant reminder.

Some answers to your issues inline below..

This first issue actually sounds like a configuration change. We seem to
have accidentally disabled the ability to embargo individual files on
the demo.dspace.org site. This option is not enabled by default, but we
had initially enabled it for early testing.

So, the result you see is simply a human mistake. We accidentally
disabled this feature (likely when we were pushing some bug fixes out to
the demo site). I've just now re-enabled it.

I need to investigate this one further. I am able to reproduce this on
the Demo site, so there seems to be a problem here.

I'll log it as a bug, and we'll investigate fixing it.

There is actually a separate browse option specific to Private items.
You *must* be logged in as a full Administrator to see it
("dspacedemo+ad...@gmail.com" on the demo site). For example, in the
XMLUI it's available under:

* "Administrative" Menu (on the right)
    * "Content Administration" subsection
        * Private Items

This is the same as with Private items. It's available under a separate
browse option under the "Administrative" menu

* "Administrative" Menu (on the right)
    * "Content Administration" subsection
        * Withdrawn Items

Thanks for reporting these issues! Sorry it took us so long to get back
on this one.
