Summary: Patch for the PGSql driver

Initial Comment:
bug reported by Ralf van der Enden ( h3llsp4wn ) - 2009-01-10 12:40
dspam-community # 2497654

There's a patch I found on the old dspam mailinglist which fixes some
issues with the pgsql driver. It works fine for me so I'd thought I'd share
it with the new fork.

Can you please:
- list the issues it fixes
- tell us who is the original author
- does it apply cleanly against 3.8.0 or HEAD?
- on what OS are you using it.

Thanks for your help!

The original message containing the patch can be found here:
http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.mail.spam.dspam.user/14901/focus=14908

I'm using DSPAM 3.8 (latest version) from the old cvs repository on
FreeBSD 7.0.

The patch applies to the most recent file from git.
