right... i'll educate myself more on suexec but on this machine i
installed vpopmail from src long ago so it's uid > 1000....

ok. i'll train it.
can i use messages that are already tagged as innocent but are actually
spam? (i'll read more in the README and the man but nothing about this in
he dspam_train man)
is it ok to feed it with the main user - vpopmail in my case - to benefit
every single virtual user? i mean will that work for all vpopmail users?

and this other thing happens... i did two alias accounts to send mail for
relearning. one is for spam with .qmail-spam like:
|/usr/local/bin/dspam --user root --class=spam --source=error

i also tried it with vpopmail user. according to the README in the dspam
src: "The 'root' user represents any existing user on the system". and
vpopmail is one of them. i'm not sure if this applies to 'every virtual
user' though. probably not....

when i send email to that spam account the log says:
Signature retrieval for '3,45dc694f649776763415757' failed
........................
68243:_[02/21/2007_10:58:27]_Signature_retrieval_for_'3,45dc694f649776763415757'_failed/68243:_[02/21/2007_10:58:27]_Unable_to_find_a_valid_signature._Aborting./68243:_[02/21/2007_10:58:27]_process_message_returned_error_-5.__dropping_message./did_0+0+1/

Unable_to_find_a_valid_signature._Aborting?!
i do have MySQLUIDInSignature turned on in the dspam.conf.

i wonder where is it looking for?! a simple mysql client look up on that
signature in dspam_signature_data shows there is a signature like that.
any ideas why would this fail?

i appreciate your help....

thanks...
