IIRC there was a patch for this. I don't use the GUI but I patched my
RHAS4 dspam 3.8 rpm with it. If you want the rpm (or an SRPM) they're
available at ftp://ipd50aa34e.speed.planet.nl/RedHatRHAS4rpms. You
should be aware that they install to LFH locations, not /usr/local.
