Hi Quanah,

I had a similar problem when i tried to build on Solaris 10 x64.

I don't know if it is the proper way to do it but I simply replaced -pthread
with -pthreads in all Makefiles and the libtool file after running configure.
I think in your case it should be changed to -mthreads

Hi,

I'm trying to build dspam-3.8.0 on MAC OS X intel, but it fails because it incorrectly thinks -pthread is a valid option. From the config.log file:

configure:20886: checking how you like your pthreads
configure:20920: gcc -o conftest -g -O2 conftest.c -lm -pthread >&5
i686-apple-darwin8-gcc-4.0.1: unrecognized option '-pthread'
configure:20923: $? = 0
configure:20925: ./conftest
configure:20928: $? = 0
configure:20933: result: -pthread

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Thanks,
Quanah
