I'm new to the Dspam community and linux. A few months ago, I
leased a Fedora Core 6 unmanaged server and my three domains are
steadily collecting, you guessed it, spam. While I have a background
in desktop support and fairly computer savvy, it's been on the Windows
side. This is my first foray into setting up something like this and I
could use some help.
Here are the specs of what's installed what I would like Dspam to
cooperate with:
Fedora Core 6 (yes, I know Fedora's up to 8... it came with the server)
Plesk v8.2.1
MySQL v5.0.27-1.fc6
Qmail v1.03-fc6.build82070918.10
Courier IMAP/POP3 v3.0.8-fc6.build82070918.10
There's also something installed called 'qmail-rblsmtpd,'
v0.70-fc6.build82070918.10
My main questions are, given my setup:
* What compilation options do I want to build it with?
* What directory do I want to install it to? (Elementary for you
guys, I know)
* What's the easiest way to set up the MySQL database? I have
access to phpMySQLAdmin.
* Do I neeed a separate MySQL database for each domain (with one
installation of DSpam, I'm guessing?)?
* Where can I read about setting up the web admin component, once I
have the main application running? (sorry again for the elementary
questions). Again, do I have to set up a web admin, one for each domain?
