A few points:

Thanks (again) for your replies. It seems that SN would benefit from a greater presence on these lists as your reply suggests more going on behind the scenes than is visible to us here.

What role does dspam play within SN? I have the impression that it pretty much does what you need as it is and any further development will be "spare time" based rather than active SN-lead changes?

Spare time management of the servers etc will probably work, but with "the community" managing releases, otherwise SN will always appear the "bad guy" despite any work behind the scenes. To have a more active role I suspect that a minimum requirement would be active presence here.

The DNS servers for Dspam are constantly under attack - this is not under
SN control

Is there really just a single name server, or am I reading something wrong? I'm UK based and therefore more familiar with .co.uk domain records.

Presumably its not nuclearelephant.com that's being targeted but gntc.com? If so (and even if not) having an additional name server elsewhere would provide some redundancy. I'm sure there are people on this list who could offer suggestions or assistance with this?
