It would be possible to take the data from the hash driver and migrate to
MySQL. But you will face problems with the currently available tools in DSPAM.
The one problem is that the tools for the hash driver are not very rock solid
and the second problem is that people use the hash driver when using the Sparse
Binary Polynomial Hashing tokenizer. The token data from the hash driver could
be migrated to MySQL but you will have a hard time to continue using those
tokens (when using SBPH) with the MySQL driver since you will probably change
the tokenizer when switching to MySQL. I am pretty sure you will change the
tokenizer. Using SBPH with MySQL will be almost not possible since SBPH creates
so much tokens that your MySQL installation will suffer from so much tokens. To
make the story short: Start with fresh data when switching from hash to MySQL.
