Hi there, i am using "mondo" to create a full backup of my server (even at work)...it writes a dvd image to your dvd recoder and is quite reliable and free...
otherwise make a tar of the known directories and run the update scripts of the dstar stuff to have all correct entries in your crontab to recover your server....that work fine as well but needs admin interaction on the target server.... 73's de michael, DL6EO @DB0DDE
