This might be useful when linking to other systems. https://k5ctx.dstargateway.org will show status of many gateways (using the previous format - not necessarily k5ctx). https://66.196.13.25/status.html where the ip address is that of a particular gateway, does the same thing.
http://REF001.dstargateway.org gives the status of reflector links on REF001. Some gateways and reflectors have different settings or try and conceal their ip address. Also, with dhcp as opposed to fixed ip addresses, the gateway may from time to time be assigned a different ip address, and this also incurs some time delay for the new address to propagate thru the gateway system. 73, Steve
