An ICOM gateway can run as an ICOM Gateway or it can become an ICOM TRUST server itself, because dsipsvd is included when you install the ICOM G2 software and it is mostly dsipsvd that does all the work of the TRUST server.
I believe we could write an OPEN SOURCE replacement to dsipsvd since we know most of the packets that come and go between an ICOM G2 Gateway and a ICOM TRUST server. It is another project by itself.
