I have not seen this discussed. Say I have two IC-92AD HTs and I want to talk between them. Can I use D-Star mode vs. FM, without going through a repeater? I assume the answer is "yes" but I wonder if there is any special setup. I'm referring to transmitting in digital vs. analog between HTs.
