The KG-UVD1 has been upgraded to the KG-UVD1P CE FCC approved.(FCC ID:WVTWOUXUN04)
Looks approved to me. I have two of their analog HT's (2M/70cm and 2M/1 1/4M) and have stunned at how well they work. Good receive, good audio and respectable battery life. I'm actually thinking these guys are getting a bad rap just because they're new and manufactured in China.
