Yes, it definitely is an early alpha of something that we would like to release as part of the next edition of Sun Studio (expected in the Spring of 2009). > I really love this tool and I am very excited for the potential in this tool > -ala MacOSX 'Instruments'- in OpenSolaris development / testing. Thank you for the kind words. This is definitely appreciated. > IMHO this project can serve us in NetBeans too, nor the NB DTrace > plugins(that its good), but not in the same way as D-Light. There's been quite a few discussions around making D-Light available as a NB plugin. From a technical standpoint, this is doable. The question is all about prioritization. Stay tuned for more. Now, of course, the biggest payback from D-Light is on platforms that implement DTrace, so even if it becomes a NB plugin don't expect it to be of much use on something like Windows. Thanks, Roman Shaposhnik (Team D-Light). _______________________________________________ dtrace-discuss mailing list [email protected]
