The policy with DTrace so far has been to backport pretty much everything that is in the current development gate at the time of backport. By taking everything up to a given point in time it's a lot easier to know what's in a given release. At the minute I'm not aware of any plans to backport but feedback on this situation is always welcome though (I'll put you down as a +1 then :-) ).
