Checked every ebook with an antivirus with latest updates. Clam AV and NOD32. no viruses found. Think thats enough for most purposes. Heck if one can download any of the ebooks through ANY p2p software, the chances of getting infected would be as much as downloading from the website. btw isnt a .PDF like a text file? what executable scripts does a PDF have? CHM is a different ball game though. Its piracy none the less. :)

For an acroread user, How does one check a pdf for such scripts?  Are
these scripts for linux or windows?

How can they be disabled?
