Greetings to all, Quick intro for me:
Been in Dubai nearly threee years. Been lurking for a couple of weeks. I'm a Flight Simulator Engineer. Many of the sims I work use AIX and/or AIX, but I don't do any real admin on them. Most of my linux knowlege comes from home playing / exploration. First started with lunix when applied for my current job since back when I applied (2002) I had no Unix / Linux experience. Only realy spent any time with Red Hat (RHL 7.x through to Fedora). Reading the posts, I can see my skills will not impress anyone in this group, but I am enthusiastic..... I'm all for a social - it would be good to put faces to the emails. Unfortunately I can't make next Tuesday, but will try to make any later gathering. So, hello and greetings to all.
