Recently I approached Thoshiba Service to fix a problem (DVD drive was
not reading and sound was coming broken) with my laptop. A lady
ENGINEER came to check the system and turned it on. As soon as she saw
the grub menu, started flaming at me for using Linux in the system
during the warranty period (there was no WinXP on it). According to
her, Linux will damage the system and that's why Toshiba is
recommending XP (!!!!). Only after a few minutes argument she verified
my warranty documents and accepted it for the service.

Any comments???
