You are right on that! Users just care for what a software offers and  
not what they can do with its source.

That's one reason why Linux is not yet able to garner its potential  
share on the desktop despite having a great base of fans like myself  
for the FREEdom it offers. But I seem to be an equal fan of MS because  
it reduces the learning curve for users who need to be focusing on  
their work and not actually the OS.

I would urge Linux distros to unite make a simple alternative and  
reach for the market opportunities especially after MS suing 22  
resellers in the US for piracy.
