HI Riyaz, What kind of file system are you using ? Is clustered ? if not you need to use one, as you are running SuSE I recommend Reiser FS. You also need to remove the auto mount command in the etc/fstab. How are the primary and backup servers talking ? and using failover ? Are you using something like heartbeat ? or hardware . software like lifekeeper ? If you are going the software route I recommend implementing STONITH.
