F**** man, I didn't have enough energy left to freak out. Actually, I
was pretty well under the pace, but just kept slowing down. I'm
honestly not sure I ever really had enough time where I realized that I
might not make it to freak out.  I did sprint the final 70 yards though;
my "clock" didn't start till 15 seconds after the race officially
started (because it took me that long to get to the start), but when I
turned the last corner and saw the clock ticking up to 3:15, I decided
to haul ass and get under it.

Walking and putting together a coherent thought was a bit of a challenge
for the next 15 minutes after that, but that's what makes it fun, right?

I read in Bloody Nipple Magazine that it's worth around 17 seconds in
time savings. You watch the next Olympics, all the runners will be
attacking their nipples with the new Nike STR8 RZR. Schinny is
developing it, Fresno State is using it this season but word is that
Under Armor has a competing product... could be trouble works like a
cigar cutter.

Honest question; Were you freaking out that maybe your clock was off or
that you weren't going to make it? I have to imagine you were in some
sort of unimaginable panic, kind of like Spano when he realizes it'll be
one more possession before he can sub out.

Thanks guys - appreciate the congrats. And Adam, your tip about the
bloody nipples really paid off. Sure, it was a little awkward pulling
out the straight razor right before the start, but it worked!

He can't believe it, not just because it's a money time, but seeing you
on the futsal field would leave one the impression that 10 minute miles
would be a decent goal for a special friend like you...

Considering he needed to do it in 3:15, you're going to love the time he
had. Check the link. You are Boston bound buddy!
