Subject: Car break-ins & Winter I registration...
Importance: High

Dear Managers,

Important info below...PASS ON TO ALL PLAYERS!!!

CAR BREAK-INS
As I mentioned in the below email on 10/5, the car burglar struck again last
Thursday. I am in constant contact with Portland Police over these situations.
Unfortunately they do not view it an epidemic yet so they will not do an
undercover sting operation until a few more cars have been hit. The police (and
myself) are advising all players to NOT leave ANYTHING in your cars. They will
however, on my bent knees, do more patrolling in the neighborhood. I know that
some managers (which shall remain nameless) did not forward the previous email
on because I've been asking random players. I and the police believe this can
be stopped as soon as you all take everything OUT! Just bring whatever bags you
have to the field benches, or better yet, leave them at home. Apparently all of
my competitors and many restaurants/bars are getting hit these days. Geez,
Portland is growing up in both positive and negative ways.

Winter I Registration
It is true that registration closes this Sunday at 8pm. Get your forms and
deposits in ASAP. Many new teams are entering so secure your spot NOW!

Yours in Safety & Futsal,

Subject: Car broken into last during 6:25pm game...TELL YOUR PLAYERS!
Importance: High

Dear Portland Futsal Community,

I want to advise you that during a 6:25 game last night (still light outside),
a player's car was broken into.

Please be advised so that it does not happen to you too. Leave all valuables
(bags, purses, laptops, etc.) in the trunk or at home. If you do have something
of value, please bring it with you to the field benches so that those items and
your cars are safe while you enjoy your game.

The police will hopefully step up patrols, but wisdom says that this thief may
hit again since he/she got away with it last night.

BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND REMOVE ANYTHING OF VALUE FROM YOUR CARS!

Yours in Futsal,

--p
