Due to trouble I recently had running LMS on an older MacMini, which worked fine for years, I decided to try using my library on a newer iMac running 10.11, by installing LMS 8.1.1
The install appeared to go easily, with no apparent problems, but despite many attempts to "start" LMS, and the program indicates that it "is starting", after awhile it simply reports that "the server is stopped". Am I missing something here? This is the newest version and I tried some older ones that I also had downloaded, to no success.
