Dear All, We have a strainmeter, and we want to demonstrate its capacity for inversion in a fractured porous medium such as in an EGS field. I want to create a simple DuMuX code that injects fluid into a fractured medium with heterogeneities and a producing well on the other end.
My goal is to demonstrate that the strain tensor will be sensitive to the heterogeneities during injection so I will need about three probes in different orientations to measure the strain. I have been working on the tutorial on geomechanics. But it would be beneficial if you could help me with where to start, the classes and functions to use in DuMuX and even any existing code that can be modified.
