Dear Erik, welcome to the Dumux mailing list!
Dumux simulation are not fully automatically differentable with respect to input parameters. However, I see no issue approximating the derivatives you want with finite differences (i.e. run two simulation with slightly different parameters and divide by the parameter delta). There is anyway not much difference between one or the other approach (autodiff or symbolic diff) in terms of performance, more convenience. Don’t hesitate to reach out in case you have further questions.
