I'm not sure I understand. In your original post you say that you did not
get an AC adapter but that you bought a substitute power adapter. Are you
saying the substitute is some kind of adapter for converting voltage?

Or does the substitute adapter not have the same type of plug to go into the
power port on the back of the Duo280.

Maybe you can find an item on eBay (either an active auction or one that has
ended) and post the URL for us to look at. Then we'll know exactly what your
looking for.

I would like to help (and I'm sure I speak for other list members) because
no one wants to see a wonderful little Duo sit around unused!
